Riverski Sports would like for you to enjoy our product for as long as possible. The skis are made out of High Density Polyethylene. This material has revolutionized the paddle sport industry. Polyethylene can withstand an impressive amount of wear and tear and is very low maintenance. Polyethylene will react to temperature changes and direct sunlight over time. Store your skis out of the direct sunlight and preferably on the bottom hull with weight distributed evenly.  After use, especially in salt water be sure to rinse off and dry the skis and the hardware.

​Riverski Sports™ Customer Service and Warranty Explanation

Riverski Sports’ equipment is built and used for recreation, fitness and outdoor enjoyment. Staying with that theme, it is our goal to make sure our customers have nothing short of a wonderful experience with our team.

The skis’ warranty is guaranteed to the original retail customer and may not be transferred. The skis are to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase under normal recreational use. If, after inspection, we find that the skis failed due to a covered defect, they will be repaired or replaced at our option without charge. We do not guarantee against wear, tear, improper care, abuse, neglect, misuse of the product, unauthorized modification or repairs (including welding), if the skis have been subjected to stress beyond the physical limit of the material, accidents, heat, excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling, storage, maintenance or care, incorrect set-up, use in commercial, rental or teaching environments, or any other irresponsible use. The following are not covered at any time by this warranty: scratches and perforation due to rocks or hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt; warping (deformation of the hull) caused by extended exposure to the sun or heat, or by having tied the skis too tightly or stored them in an improper position; change in appearance of the skis due to wear, over-exposure to sun, heat, or any other environmental condition.

Any structural change automatically voids this limited warranty. Except expressly set forth herein, Riverski Sports disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. EXCLUSIONS FROM LIMITED WARRANTY: Explosive decompression tears. If the are skis are shipped outside the USA they may incur additional restrictions. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RIVERSKI SPORTS, LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties of performance and quality whether written, oral or implied. All other warranties including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall Riverski Sports, LLC be liable for special, indirect, incidental, consequential, statutory or exemplary damages whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise including, without limitation, loss to property other than this product, loss of use of said product, or other property or economic losses. Riverski Sports shall not be liable for contribution or indemnification, whatever the cause.

Riverski Sports, LLC Warranty Procedure

The Riverski Sports, LLC team is confident in the quality of our skis. If there is a problem with your skis, our goal is to solve the issue quickly and efficiently, so you can step on to the water and ski.

All warranty claims should be referred to the original point of purchase of the product, and include a description of the problem, photo, serial number (where applicable), and proof of purchase (original receipt of purchase) including the date. Riverski Sports, LLC will at its sole discretion decide whether the claim is acceptable and if accepted, whether the product will be repaired or replaced. The best way to proceed with a formal warranty claim regarding the skis is by completing the Warranty claim form. The information it provides is mandatory for us to process your request.

1. The warranty agreement requires that the distributor (Riverski Sports, LLC) receives the Warranty Registration Form postmarked within 30 days from the original date of purchase. For a claim to be processed it MUST be accompanied by the original proof-of-purchase (receipt received at the time of purchase), relevant photos of the problem area, and the completed claim form (available on the website) describing the issue. Only upon receipt of these completed documents will an authorization number be issued by Riverski Sports, LLC. No other process will be accepted by Riverki Sports, LLC. No coverage will be afforded on skis whose cards were not completely filled out and returned to Riverski Sports, LLC or cards submitted without the sales receipt. Without the warranty card and sales receipt we cannot establish the date of sale of the skis, and thus the age of the skis.

2. The warranty agreement includes all shipping costs to and from the appointed place of repair/replacement. Riverki Sports, LLC will not accept merchandise without the Riverski Sports authorization return number clearly identified on the outer packaging. Once an authorization number has been issued, shipping instructions will be given to the sender by Riverski Sports, LLC.  The sender must then follow the shipping instructions. Riverski Sports, LLC reserves the right to return merchandise to its owner, at the owner’s expense (COD) if the above conditions have not been met. The distributor is not responsible for any damages incurred in transport, storing fees, or inconvenience or loss of time/money while the claim is being processed and repairs or restoration are being effected.

3. The warranty agreement obliges Riverski Sports, LLC only during the period of coverage (beginning on the date of the original warranty activation and expires at the end of the original warranty period specified on the warranty registration form) to repair or replace, at its discretion, the defective parts at either its distribution warehouse or through a designated, authorized dealer’s store. Riverski Sports, LLC reserves the right to change the product or design without incurring any obligation to incorporate such changes in previously available products.
